Marina: Echo Bay Marina is located on the Overton Basin of Lake Mead. Because it is further from Las Vegas, it tends to be less crowded on weekends than some of the other places on the lake. The drive is less than 1.5 hours from the Las Vegas strip. Echo Bay offers an assortment of houseboats, ski boats, patio boats, and fishing boats, all of which are available for rent from 8-5 daily. This marina features a waterside store and a tackle and bait shop. In addition, the Echo Bay Marina offers the Lakeside Hotel and RV Park, offering comfortable accommodations complete with the Tail 'O the Whale Restaurant, which serves up appetizing fare throughout the day. Gas is available on the water from 8-5 daily. Overnight guest boat ties up’s are also available for a small fee.

Forever Resorts, LLC was awarded a three year temporary contract to operate concessions at Echo Bay Marina starting February 1, 2010. More info can be found at the following link:

From Los Angeles:

Take the 10 Freeway towards San Bernardino to the 15 Freeway East towards Las Vegas. Take the 215 East toward Henderson which becomes Lake Mead Parkway. Cross Boulder Hwy. Go eight miles thru the NPS Fee Station. 200 feet past the fee station, turn left at the sign marked "Callville Bay/Echo Bay". Go 40 miles on North Shore road to Echo Bay turn-off, turn right. Then four miles to resort.
